Wurst BBQ Ever
It was one of those out-there ideas, half joking, half hoping it would stick. After a series of rapid fire puns none of us in the room could resist, it was settled: we had to take hold of this opportunity. It was clever, it was controversial, it was Converse.
Inspired by Germany's traditional biergartens, we took a laid-back, casual approach that allowed us to standout from the typical and expected brand experiences at Bread & Butter (it was also a creative way to use a very small budget to make a maximum impact). Hosting over 250+ attendees with 50+ impressions on fashion and culture blogs the event created a buzz throughout the trade show the next day and demand for "Wurst Ever" swag.
